HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Hundreds of people lined up for free dental care Friday at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.
Nearly 200 dentists and hundreds more support staffers volunteered their time for the group MOM-n-PA.
The procedures run as much as $1,000 – all free of charge for the patients.
“I’m a single mom with three kids and so other things need to be paid for, and so my mouth, that’s like the lowest priority,” Doris Garcia of Lebanon said.
“They’ve organized it well,” Stefon Dorsey of Harrisburg said. “I mean, they have us moving from one area to the next area and there’s not much wait at all.”
Friday was just the first day of the free dental care. Day two kicks off Saturday morning. The doors will open at the North Hall at 6 a.m.
