LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have filed charges against a city man who says he fired a “warning shot” into the air after a passing vehicle struck his arm.
Justin Borell, 23, is charged with recklessly endangering and disorderly conduct, city police said in a news release Friday.
Borell told officers he was walking in the 800 block of Federal Street on April 28 when he was struck by the mirror of a gold PT Cruiser with tinted windows. He said he was concerned for his safety so he fired the warning shot into the air as the vehicle was driving away.
Borell was not injured.
Police said the gun was legally possessed and Borell had a concealed weapons permit.
The driver of the PT Cruiser has not been identified.
