One man is in custody and police are looking for a second person in connection to a carjacking in Tower City.

State police said 18-year-olds Dawson Loy, of Wiconisco, and William Wright, of Williamstown, approached a 23-year-old woman at a gas station and asked for a ride around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

The woman saw that Wright was holding a gun behind his leg and told him to take her vehicle. She got out and Loy jumped in the driver’s seat, and the two suspects drove off at a high rate of speed, police said in a news release.

Loy crashed at Route 209 and Water Street in Williamstown and was arrested after he fled on foot. Police are still looking for Wright.

Both men will be charged with robbery of a motor vehicle and other offenses.
