Two York men were arrested after a pursuit on Route 15 in Cumberland County on Thursday evening, police said.
Jason J. Tirado-Cordero, 20, was driving a northbound vehicle that was clocked at 98 mph around 7:30 p.m. and refused to pull over for an officer, Upper Allen Township police said.
The chase ultimately ended in Harrisburg. Tirado-Cordero’s vehicle was searched and marijuana and paraphernalia were seized, police said.
A passenger, 19-year-old King McNair, threw a pistol from the vehicle during the pursuit, police said. The gun was recovered.
Tirado-Cordero is charged with fleeing and eluding, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speeding, and driving without a license.
McNair is charged with tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, and a firearms offense.
