Police say they ticketed 60 drivers for speeding on Interstate 81 in Cumberland County this morning.
Troopers from the Carlisle station were looking for speeders in the northbound lanes in South Middleton Township, where the speed limit is posted at 55 mph, between 6:30 and 9 a.m.
Twelve drivers were going more than 80 mph, and one driver was clocked at 100 mph, police said.
One driver was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Just two weeks ago, troopers watching for speeders in the same area ticketed 31 drivers in just one hour. They said 11 of those drivers were going over 80 mph.
Police said the speed enforcement details will continue throughout the summer.
