Bank robbed, employee struck in Hampden Township

CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) – An armed robber struck an employee on the head with a gun when he demanded money from a bank in Hampden Township on Wednesday.

The robbery occurred at the BB&T bank on Saint Johns Church Road just after 1 p.m.

The robber fled in a silver Chevrolet Equinox SUV.

The FBI is looking into whether the robbery is linked to others.
