Caregiver charged with rape of client

WORMLEYSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Harrisburg man who worked as a caregiver is accused of raping one of his clients at her Wormleysburg home, West Shore Regional police said.

Confidence Boms, 50, was arrested Wednesday on charges of rape, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, and access device fraud.

He was taken into custody without incident and was transported to Cumberland County Prison. Bail was set at $30,000.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 1.
