Carlisle/West Shore

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say they’re investigating an incident at a Mechanicsburg bus stop as an attempted child luring.

Someone in a gray or silver full-size van approached the bus stop at West Simpson and South Frederick streets around 7:40 a.m. Thursday. The driver claimed he was with the school and was there to pick up the students, but he eventually drove off and left all students at the stop, police said in a news release Friday.

The driver was described as having gray hair and a large build.

Anyone with information should call Mechanicsburg police at 717-691-3300.
