Drivers should expect overnight traffic restrictions on the Camp Hill Bypass over the next two days.
A PennDOT contractor plans to set bridge beams on the west side of the Erford Road bridge over the bypass beginning Thursday at 9 p.m., weather permitting.
The work will continue until 6 a.m. Friday and resume from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.
During those times, drivers may encounter single-lane restrictions on Erford Road, and lane restrictions and/or short-term traffic stoppages on the Camp Hill Bypass.
Work to replace the 66-year-old bridge began in September and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
The new wider bridge will accommodate two through-lanes and a center-turn lane.
