Giant brings first beer, wine sales to Camp Hill

CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) - The Giant food store in Camp Hill is the first place in the borough to sell beer and wine.

Giant's beer and wine eatery opened Friday afternoon.

Residents overwhelmingly voted to allow liquor sales last year. Mayor Mark Simpson says it was the right move.

"I think the laws are kind of antiquated," Simpson said. "A lot of people are used to other areas of the country, being able to purchase wine and beer in convenience stores and grocery stores, and I think we're slowly seeing that happen in Pennsylvania."

Giant beer and wine eatery in Camp Hill is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. To 10 p.m.
