Man arrested for armed bank robbery in Camp Hill

CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) - An Etters man has been charged for an armed bank robbery in Camp Hill.

Brandon Black, 34, was taken into custody Thursday evening after officers responded to a drug overdose in the 300 block of April Drive, Camp Hill police said.

He was arrested a short distance away after he ran from officers, police said.

Black is accused of robbing the S&T Bank on Market Street earlier in the day. Authorities say he showed a large knife when he demanded money around 1 p.m.

He is charged with robbery, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, and possession of a controlled substance.

He was placed in Cumberland County Prison on $250,000 bail.
