Man ordered to court for delivering fatal drug dose

A Carlisle man is headed to trial for delivering a fatal drug dose to a 35-year-old man in Shippensburg last year.

Jason A. Cromer, 33, was ordered held for court after a preliminary hearing on Monday.

Cromer is charged with drug delivery resulting in death, involuntary manslaughter, and other charges regarding the April 5 death.

Shippensburg police said Cromer delivered drugs to a man who died from an overdose of acryl-fentanyl, a fentanyl derivative.

Cromer is being held on $200,000 bail pending his trial.
