Police in Cumberland County say several people have reported the thefts of packages that had been delivered to homes and left on porches.

Middlesex Township police department said it started receiving reports of package thefts on Thursday.

All incidents reported in the township occurred in the Meadowbrook Farms development.

In North Middleton Township, police reported thefts Wednesday in the 2600 block of Spring Road, the 30 block of Pine Creek Drive, and the 200 block of Regal View.

The packages stolen from Pine Creek Road were emptied and scattered onto Canary Drive.

At the Spring Road location, a witness saw a man remove the package from the porch and return to a vehicle. The man was said to have dreadlocks tied up in a bun, and he was wearing dark shorts and a red shirt. The witness did not get a description of the vehicle.
