Update: Eckard is in custody

ABC27’s investigation revealed Brad Eckard was facing dozens of charges for deceptive business practices. Now he’s facing a new set of charges.

The Fairview Township Police Department is looking for 29-year-old Brad Eckard.

He is accused of taking intimate photos of a former girlfriend and distributing them on social media.

One of the people who allegedly received those pictures was a juvenile.

Eckard is facing several charges including corruption of minors, harassment and invasion of privacy.

Our investigation last month revealed Eckard, the owner of Eckard Tree Removal allegedly stole 17,600 dollars from at least 11 people over an 8 month period.

According to court papers, he would take down payments and never do the work.

Charged in both Dauphin and Cumberland counties with theft by deception, receiving advance payment with failure to perform service, deceptive business practices, and forgery, Brad Eckard didn’t show for his most recent court appearance in Cumberland County.

After our story aired, I took several calls from people who say they also gave Eckard a down payment and he never came back to do the work.

Police agencies in Cumberland, Dauphin and York counties have warrants out for his arrest.

If you see Brad Eckard, call police.
