A York County woman has been arrested for a January bank robbery near Carlisle.

Amy E. Patterson, 28, of Thomasville, is accused of robbing the Members 1st Federal Credit Union, at 321 York Road in South Middleton Township, on Jan. 2.

Police said Patterson entered the bank without approaching a bank teller for several minutes, allowing other customers to go in front of her, before finally approaching a teller and producing a note demanding money.

No weapons were displayed.

Patterson was arrested this week on charges of robbery, theft, and related charges. She was placed in Cumberland County Prison after failing to post $200,000 cash bail.
