NEWPORT, Pa. (WHTM) – A Perry County man died after crashing a motorcycle into a piece of excavating equipment at a bridge construction site.
Jeffrey P. Grannas, 44, of Millerstown, was driving on West Juniata Parkway in Howe Township on Thursday night and went around road closed signs where a bridge is being replaced. He struck the excavator and died on impact, the coroner’s office said.
His death was ruled accidental. State police are still investigating the crash.
