Dickinson College has a new dorm just in time for the new school year.
The High Street residence hall has room for 130 students. It’s the first all-new dorm at Dickinson since 1972.
Each floor has several private unisex bathrooms, complete with shower and sink.
The dorm was built partly with recycled materials, and has a rain garden and skylights.
“Since this is an upper class building, a lot of these students have been here for a while, have seen the renovations, seen it from the groundbreaking a couple of years ago, and are really excited to see what the finished product will look like,” said Frank Villarreal, Dickinson Senior, and new dorm resident.
The fall semester at Dickinson begins in two weeks.
