Driver taken to hospital after morning crash

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) - Northern Lancaster County Regional Police were called to a crash on West Lincoln Avenue, in Warwick Township, just after 8:45 Thursday morning. 

Authorities say the driver of the car was injured and had been extricated with the help of bystanders at the crash scene.

Police say Steve Bachmeier Jr. of Lebanon was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix which struck a parked 2006 Honda Ridgeline. 

Bachmeier stated he was driving west on West Lincoln Avenue and has no recall of the events. Witness accounts on scene indicated the car struck the parked car, then flipped onto its roof and began to skid across the roadway. It came to a rest in the eastbound lane.

EMS arrived on scene and transported the driver to Lancaster General Hospital.
