Five people arrested after police pursuit of stolen vehicle

On October 4th at around 1:00 a.m., Lower Swatara Police were called to the first block of Lake Drive for a reported vehicle theft. 

Witnesses told officers that four suspects were seen in the area just before a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup was taken.

At around 2:15 a.m., the truck was found by one of the officers. 

Police attempted to stop the the truck, but it turned into a pursuit.

After leading officers through several areas, it ended after police from an assisting department, successfully deployed stop sticks. 

An adult man, Justin Landis, and four juveniles were all taken into custody custody and charged.

The four juveniles were placed into custody by Dauphin County Probation, and Landis was released on bail. 

Police say several presumed stolen bikes were also recovered during the investigation.
