On Saturday, drivers in Hershey will share the road with hundreds of cyclists.
It’s part of the “Bikes and Beers” event to promote cycling safety. Approximately 600 cyclists will take part in a 15 or 30-mile ride, starting and ending at Troegs Brewery.
“As an inaugural event, we see it as a great opportunity to connect with Derry Township and the surrounding community,” said Troegs’ Jancy Nightingale. “We hope to further engrain ourselves with the community, not only with the full trail that comes to the brewery, but to advocate for cycling in this beautiful town and cycling safety.”
All proceeds will go to the Friends of Derry Township Parks and Recreation to continue to develop the Jonathan Eshenour Memorial Trail.
This year’s event is sold out, but if you want to attend the after party, you can stop by the brewery for live music and food.
