BREAKING: Shot fired in Harrisburg near high school prom

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A shot was fired about an hour ago near Harrisburg High School’s prom.

Police say the shot was across the street at Kline Plaza on South 25th Street, and no one at the prom or scene was hurt.

Police Commissioner Tom Carter says someone at the scene was taken into custody, but it wasn’t the shooter.

So far, no arrests have been made.

The school district said that shooting involved adults not associated with the school. Officers allowed the dance to continue as there was no danger.
