Development work begins at former Blue Ridge Country Club

Harrisburg

Plans to turn the Blue Ridge Country Club into a new community development are moving forward.

Site work has begun at the former club along Linglestown Road in Lower Paxton Township.

Blue Ridge Village will feature townhouses designed to assist the elderly, single-family homes, apartment buildings, and 70,000 square feet dedicated to accessible retail

The developer, Triple Crown Corporation, is still tight-lipped about which retailers are coming to the development, but residents can expect a coffee shop, pharmacy, hair salon, and restaurants.

“I think you are seeing this lifestyle from the Baltimore/D.C. metro area is beginning to push north now into the Harrisburg market, and you’re seeing other communities mimic this. I think it’s what our customers are beginning to demand here,” said Nicolas DiSanto, vice president of construction for Triple Crown.

Apartment construction is expected to begin this summer. Retail tenants will set up shop by the end of the year.
