A Duncannon man will spend at least a year in prison for a DUI crash that badly injured a man in Harrisburg last year.

Brett C. Bornman, 44, was sentenced in Dauphin County Court to a term of 1-2 years in state prison for a charge of aggravated assault while DUI, the district attorney’s office said.

Bornman admitted to police that he had used heroin a half-hour before the Sept. 29 at North 29th and Market streets.

He made a wide, swerving turn from North 29th onto Market Street and struck the victim, who was retrieving items from the trunk of his car.
