Harrisburg free clinic in need of support as it nears three years of service

Harrisburg

Beacon Clinic in Uptown Harrisburg has been providing free health care services to the uninsured and underserved for three years.

Kay Huber is a nurse practitioner at Beacon Clinic.  She says they depend on grants and contributions from the public to keep their doors open for business.

“We have a person who looks for grant money,” said Huber.

The clinic is a non-profit and is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

It is open to anyone in the public but people are advised to make an appointment by phone. For more information, visit beaconclinicpa.org.
