I-283 North ramp to I-83 South will be closed Saturday

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – People who drive Interstate 283 to Interstate 83 should know that one of the ramps will be closed for about eight hours on Saturday.

The I-283 North ramp to I-83 southbound will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, for pavement patching and repairs to an overhead beam on the bridge that carries I-83 North to Route 322 eastbound, according to a PennDOT news release.

PennDOT said drivers may follow eastbound 322 to the Penhar Drive exit, turn right at the stop sign onto Penhar Drive, then go right at the stop sign onto Paxton Street, and turn left onto the westbound 322 on-ramp to I-83 South.
