Last rites to still be delivered in Diocese of Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — The Diocese of Harrisburg says priests will still go into hospitals and perform last rites amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Diocese, however, has limited home and hospital visits for those who don’t need last rites.

If the patient is dying from coronavirus, priests can still perform the sacrament but must follow hospital guidelines.
