Local boutique holds fashion show to help people with disabilities

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) - A local boutique is lending a hand to help those suffering from a disability.

Jessica's Dream is an online boutique headquartered in Harrisburg, PA. The shop was named after a young woman named Jessica Lawson who passed away from diabetic complications.

A fashion show, entitled "The Misfits" will be held in Jessica's honor. The clothes will be modeled by those also suffering from an illness or disability.

All proceeds from the fashion show will go to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and The Vision Resource Center in Jessica's honor. 

The event will be held at the Zembo Shrine Auditorium in Harrisburg on Saturday December 15th.
