The Lower Paxton Township woman who had her life sentence commuted by Gov. Tom Wolf last month will be released from prison in the next week.
Tina Brosius was convicted of first-degree murder in 1995 for leaving her newborn baby to drown in a portable toilet in Lower Paxton Township. She was sentenced to life in prison.
Her daughter confirmed to ABC27 News that Brosius will be released sometime in the next seven days.
Brosius has spent 24 years in prison.
Once she is released she will go to a community corrections center for a year. After that, she will remain on parole for the rest of her life.
