Man killed in Harrisburg shooting

Harrisburg police are searching for the gunman who killed a man in the 2100 block of North Fifth Street Thursday night.

Officers were called to an area near North Fifth and Forest Streets before 8 p.m. and found a man lying on the sidewalk with fatal gunshot wounds.

Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Christopher Alexander.

Detectives are investigating and asking anyone with information to call 717-255-7298 or 717-558-6900. 

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
