No charges filed in fatal pedestrian crash involving CAT bus

HARRISBURG, Pa (WHTM) - No charges will be filed against a Capital Area Transit bus driver involved in a crash that killed a pedestrian in Harrisburg. 

Harrisburg police said their investigation showed Daniel Harmon, 63, of York County was not in a crosswalk when he was hit by the bus and killed. Police said Harmon was in a blind spot for the driver. 

The crash happened on October 1 at the intersection of North Second and Market Streets as the CAT bus pulled out of a transfer station. .
