Police: Fatal pedestrian crash not hit-run, driver identified

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say a crash that killed a pedestrian in Lower Paxton Township this week was not a hit-and-run.

Bianca Filippelli, 42, died Monday evening after she was struck while crossing the 4200 block of Union Deposit Road.

Witnesses told police a white SUV was in the area at the time of the crash. The driver was not at the scene when police arrived.

Police said after reviewing surveillance video and interviewing witnesses, they do not believe the driver of the white SUV was involved, but they would still like to identify that person and speak to them.

The driver of the striking vehicle has been identified and the investigation confirmed that he remained at the scene after the collision, police said.
