Police ID man fatally shot in Harrisburg


HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A 38-year-old man died and another person is injured after a shooting in the city early Thursday.

Police said Corey Crishon died shortly after arriving at a hospital. 

The other victim, a man in his 20s, underwent surgery and was recovering in a hospital.

Officers found both victims after responding to the 1500 block of State Street around 1 a.m. They said one person was lying in the middle of the street and the other was on a sidewalk, both suffering from gunshot injuries.

Authorities have not announced any arrests or suspects.

State Street was closed for about three hours as police investigated. The roadway opened around 4 a.m.
