HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Harrisburg police are investigating a drive-by shooting Tuesday night that happened in front of a church.
Officers were called to the 500 block of Division Street just after 6 p.m. after receiving multiple calls for shots fired.
The shooting occurred in front of Lingo Memorial Church of God In Christ where, around 7 p.m., an evening service got underway.
Police say two cars were involved and both left the scene; one of those vehicles has been recovered, according to police.
It remains unclear how many people are involved or if anyone was injured.
It’s still too early in the investigation to determine who was shooting at who or if shots were fired from both cars.
There were at least half a dozen bullet casings on the street when police arrived.
