Police investigating murder-suicide in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) - Harrisburg police are investigating a murder-suicide in the 3000 block of North Second Street.

Officers were called there around 6:37 p.m. Thursday for multiple calls of shots fired. 

District Attorney Fran Chardo says two people are dead. One person lived in a North Second Street home, the other person did not.

Chardo could not comment on who lived where.

According to police, one man was found lying on the sidewalk with an apparent self-inflicted fatal gunshot wound. 

Another man was found nearby with gunshot injuries. That man was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
