A sunset on the Susquehanna River is hard to beat.
At the Riverhouse in Susquehanna Township, they can top that.
With world class musicians, this is a concert venue like no other.
It is intimate with just 75 seats.
“It’s about listening to the music at the same time as feeling the space nature drawn in through the open windows that are here,” said Odin Rathnam, a violinist.
This is the second year for concerts at Riverhouse but there is something new.
“We all love trains at least I did when I was a kid,” said Gary Lysaght, Riverhouse owner.
Lysaght added a completely refurbished 1922 caboose as a guest house.
“I just thought it would be cool to have this train next to the Rockville Bridge,” said Lysaght.
There is a concert at Riverhouse Saturday, June 9.
Ticket information can be found on Rathnam’s website.
