School, police fill student backpacks with food

Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Law enforcement showed up at Central Dauphin Middle School on Wednesday but for all the right reasons.

The school district and officers filled backpacks with food to send home with students who need a little extra over the weekend.

The Nutripacks backpack program has been in place for nine years and serves 700 elementary families.
