Student set small fire at Harrisburg school

A student set a small fire in a boys restroom at Rowland Academy on Tuesday morning, a Harrisburg School District spokeswoman said.

Students and staff were moved to Scott Elementary School as firefighters responded to the school. The fire in the second-floor restroom was contained by the sprinkler system, spokeswoman Kirsten Keys said.

Police identified the student who is responsible, and there is no further danger to the school, Keys said.

Classes have resumed as scheduled.
