Hip-hop band ‘The Roots’ to perform at Wolf, Fetterman inauguration party

Hip-hop band The Roots will perform at the governor’s inauguration party later this month. 

Governor Tom Wolf and Lieutenant Governor-elect John Fetterman will be sworn into office on Tuesday, January 15.

The swearing-in ceremony is in the East Wing of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex. Gates open at 10 a.m. Tickets are free but must be reserved. 

Later that night, there will be a “Moving Pennsylvania Forward” inaugural celebration featuring The Roots.

The Grammy-winning group is from Philadelphia. They are currently the official house band on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon“. 

The party is at 7 p.m. at the Farm Show Complex. General admission tickets are $100. Tickets for seniors and students are $50.
