Lancaster man charged with making terroristic threats, and related charges

A Lancaster man is in custody, accused of pointing a handgun at several people, and threatening them.

Police were called to a home on the first block of North Ann Street around 2:40 p.m. Thursday afternoon for a report of a weapons complaint.

Officers were told that a roofing company was contracted to work on a nearby home, and 2 of the workers heard yelling coming from the home.

The workers say a man, identified as Brian K. Daily, opened a window and pointed a black handgun toward them, and continued yelling toward them.

Police closed North Ann Street while they attempted to contact Daily, or other residents in the home. Additionally, the La Academia school was placed on temporary lockdown during the incident.

Police evacuated another man, and two women from the home. Lancaster City Police Officer Caple made contact with Daily, and was able to talk him to the front door without incident.

Police say Daily pointed a gun at one of the women inside the home, before pointing it at the roofers. After a search of the home, a black pellet gun was found, and seized as evidence.

Daily has been charged with Terroristic Threats; 3 Counts Simple Assault by Physical Menace, 2 Counts Recklessly Endangering Another Person; Disorderly Conduct;  and Possession of Marijuana. Daily was later arraigned on the complaint and committed to LCP in lieu of $20,000 bail.
