2 arrested, 1 sought for Lancaster shooting

Two men are in custody and a third is being sought on charges regarding a shooting that critically injured another man in Lancaster last week.

Jamel Nesmith, 23, and 24-year-olds Clifton Hunter and Jovar  Jackson are charged with conspiracy to commit attempted homicide, robbery, and other offenses related to the Oct. 16 shooting in the area of East King and South Lime streets, police said Friday.

Nesmith is in Lancaster County Prison on $200,000 bail. 

Hunter was arrested Friday in Pawtucket, Rhode Island by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. He is awaiting extradition.

Jackson remains at large.
