Convicted offender had child pornography, failed to register, police say

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster man with a previous child pornography conviction is charged again after police said they found more than 160 images on his phones.

William A. Thomas, 26, had 13 images on one phone and 149 more on a second phone. He also had three email addresses he used for storing, hiding, and transferring child pornography, Manheim Township police said.

Thomas was convicted in 2017 of possessing child pornography and is required to register his whereabouts with state police under Megan’s Law. He is additionally charged with failing to comply with those registration requirements.

Thomas was already detained at Lancaster County Prison on unrelated charges.
