LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — Police are currently investigating an incident involving the deaths of two individuals in Manor Township, Lancaster County.

For most of the day on Tuesday police had a portion of Charlestown Road blocked off.

Firefighters told ABC 27 News they were called to the area early Tuesday morning for a truck that was on fire and firefighters said that’s what started the investigation.

Investigators collecting evidence appeared be focused on a driveway, which was hidden from sight, past a cornfield.

The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office said preliminary evidence doesn’t lead them to believe the deaths are related to any pending investigations.

At one point during the day on Tuesday people who identified themselves as family members connected to the case to police arrived at the scene, but the same people didn’t answer questions from reporters.

Police didn’t identify the name of the two people found dead.
