LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster man and woman are charged with reckless endangerment after a motorcycle crash stemming from their domestic dispute, police said.

Manheim Township police said Christina Sirgenson, 36, and Juan Jesus Montero, 27, were riding Sunday afternoon on East Walnut Street near Pleasure Road when Montero was seen throwing something at Sirgenson’s motorcycle.

Sirgenson retaliated by swerving her motorcycle into Montero’s bike, causing him to lose control and strike a concrete barrier.  He was thrown from the motorcycle then went over a concrete barrier and down near the Conestoga River, police said.

Montero sustained major, non-life-threatening injuries, and was hospitalized.

He surrendered himself to police on Friday. Sirgenson turned herself in on Wednesday. Both were released on unsecured bail.
