A man was arrested and his father is wanted on charges related to a woman’s drug overdose death in Elizabethtown.

Dustin Gilbert, 27, and Stanford Gilbert, 50, are each charged with drug delivery resulting in death, abuse of a corpse, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said they were helping State Parole agents serve a warrant at a home in the 600 block of Market Street on March 9. While taking the subject of the warrant into custody, they found a 54-year-old woman dead from an overdose in the living room.

Two men in the apartment had a synthetic drug, and additional amounts of the drug were found in various areas of the apartment, police said in a news release.

Dustin Gilbert was arrested Friday and placed in Lancaster County Prison without bail.

Stanford Gilbert remains at large. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call Elizabethtown police at 717-367-6540.
