LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – More than a hundred people will shave their heads this weekend to raise money for childhood cancer research.
The local St. Baldrick’s event was organized by a Lancaster firefighter. In the past 11 years, they have raised more than $1 million.
There are still ways to get involved in Saturday’s event at Annie Bailey’s in Lancaster.
“You can just come to the event. You can register at the event and try to raise money between now and then and get your head shaved with us,” organizer Billy Nonnemacher said. “If taking off all your hair is not your thing, you can easily donate on the website StBaldricks.org and find our Annie Bailey’s event.”
