Homeless person in Lancaster being tested for COVID-19, mayor says

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — A homeless person in Lancaster is being tested for COVID-19, according to the city’s mayor.

Mayor Danene Sorace said that the person is now in isolation.

She’s now urging people to stop dropping off food at Binns Park, an area where those without a home tend to congregate.

Sorace said she is concerned about the virus spreading there.
