A Lancaster County man who already served prison time for sexually abusing a child has been sentenced to another term for the abuse of a second child victim.

Frederick W. Townsend, 59, of Pequea Township, was recently sentenced to three to eight years, followed by seven years of probation, after pleading guilty to eight charges.

He must register his whereabouts with police, under Megan’s Law, for the rest of his life.

The district attorney’s office said the second victim recently disclosed the abuse that happened in 2013.

Townsend was sentenced in 2014 to 1-2 years in prison and five years probation for abusing an 11-year-old girl.

After he was paroled in that case, Townsend was sentenced to 1.5 to 3 years for failing to register under Megan’s Law, a sentence he is currently serving.
