Lancaster Fire Chief reminding residents fireworks regulations

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — Lancaster’s Fire Chief is reminding residents about when and where you can set off fireworks.

Restrictions were loosened in 2017, but you still need to be 150 feet away from a building, although this excludes most residential areas. In the past, illegal usage caused multiple house fires and injuries.

This reminder comes as we near the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
