A Lancaster middle school closed since a water main break on Monday will remain closed for the remainder of the week.
Crews are still working to repair the water main issue at Reynolds Middle School, and there continues to be no electricity to the building, the School District of Lancaster said.
“We realize this may be an inconvenience for families. However, we simply have no other option, as we have been informed the building’s mechanical systems will not be safe for students and staff to return,” the district posted on its website. “The district is assured that the building is structurally sound.”
Grab and Go lunches will be available for Reynolds students Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the main lobby of the school.
