LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) - Water Street Mission is making sure hundreds of people will get to have a Thanksgiving feast.
The mission on Wednesday handed out meals to go. One woman said without the meal she received, she probably wouldn't have eaten on the holiday.
"It makes me feel like I'm a part of something for Thanksgiving," Elaine Adams said. "Even if it's to come down and get my food and say hi and thank you, I'm grateful."
The mission gave nearly 700 meals for churches to hand out earlier in the week.
Its Thanksgiving dinner is Thursday from 12 to 6 p.m.
